October, 2010 — the 2010 MS 100 Hole Golf Challenge
Monday September 13th turned out to be another fantastic day of golf and fundraising for the MS Society.
With tremendous support from friends, family, business associates, colleagues and anonymous donors, the 24 energetic and enthusiastic golfers raised over $88,000. My team of MSfits, consisting myself and the talented golf pros from Fraserview - Tom Monaghan, James Presnail and Mark Burke - successfully defended last year’s title of Top Fundraiser Team with a combined total of more than $22,500, in addition to winning the titles for Best Dressed Team and Lowest Scoring Team.
For the second year in a row, your extraordinary generousity propelled me to Top Fundraiser with more than $18,000.00 – as far as we recall, the highest single-person total in the 14 year history of this event! The credit does not belong to me; it is you, my 100+ dear and generous friends, who make this possible. I only collect the money – and play a little golf ... But I cannot thank you enough for helping me achieve this amazing milestone.
Thanks again from the bottom of my heart for giving hope to those who are impacted financially, physically and psychologically by this debilitating disease; you are helping to fund groundbreaking medical research for a cure for MS, and programs and services that enhance the quality of life for people with multiple sclerosis.
For all my extra generous donors, the FLP-7 Lanterns went to Lornie, and the unique 'mibrella' umbrella went to my brpther-in-law Michael (the draw was NOT fixed).
In trusting that I can count on your support again next year, I am yours truly -

September 15th, 2009 - The 2009 MS 100 Hole Golf Challenge
September 14th turned out to be - not unexpectedly - another fantastic day of fundraising for the MS Society.
The course was in amazing shape, the weather conditions were perfect for a full day of golf, and the golf was - for the most part - world class. This because I stacked my team with the talented golf pros from Fraserview. Thank you, Team MSfits (Tom, James and Mark), for making the 11 hours of ball-losing-golf such a fun and enjoyable experience. Of course we won Lowest Team Score - thanks to my 5 birdies, no doubt - highest Team Fundraiser, and we should have won Best Dressed Team for sure!
And thank you to all of you, my generous sponsors, for another remarkable year. You helped me reach Top Fundraiser with an incredible $13,546. All in all, 30 golfers raised about $95,000 for the MS Society
Thanks again from the bottom of my heart for giving hope to those who are impacted financially, physically and psychologically by this debilitating disease; you are helping to fund medical research for a cure for MS, and programs and services that enhance the quality of life for people with multiple sclerosis.

September 8th, 2008 - The 2008 MS 100 Hole Golf Challenge
A fantastic day for fundraising. This year, 26 players teed off at 7am, completing the 5.5 rounds of golf around 6pm, while raising over $98,000 for the MS Society.
You helped me personally to another banner-year by pledging over $12,500, putting me in 2nd place of fund-raisers. This brings my total pledge amount to more than $52,000 over my 10 years of participation. You guys rock!
The draw for the SWVL 3 Lantern was held, and the lantern went to Brent Welty of Calgary - thank you, old friend.
Until then - heart&mind,
